The national mosquito control week is being launched by the Health minister Maithripala Sirisena in Nugegoda. The presidential task force,armed forces,the police,civil defense committes and health authorities along with the public are set-up here to control dengue.They also will carry out mosquito control activites during this week,which ends on the June 26th.
Legal actions were taken against mosquito breeds in and around Nugegoda.Minister also stated that stern actions will be taken against persons who abstruct health officials.
Mosquito control activites will be carried out in 305 mott areas.Without the co-operation from the public this awareness programme will not be a success.So we’ll all be apart of it.
