A branch from the boa tree in Shri Kirula Bodhi Vihara broke, and fell on to four cars and a three wheeler which were parked there. One person was injured, and has been taken to the emergency ward. Others all are safe. The fire brigade is on it's way to clear the place. The Environment Police Unit of Narenpita said that they will take action very soon to secure the place. I was just walking by. Suddenly I heard a big noise. When I turned to see,i saw the boa tree branch fallen onto those cars. Thank god no one was inside those cars And now let's join with our correspondent who's reporting live from the scene. I'm here opposite the Asiri Hospital,where an accident occurred short while ago. The branch from that boa tree there fell onto those vehicles as you can see. The owners of the vehicles are really panicked. They are not in a state to talk with us right now. No other damages were reported except the vehicles. One person was injured and has been taken to the emergency ward. The traffic is being cleared and the environment police unit said they will take action to keep this place safe.
